Favorable arrival and departure times
On the day of arrival, you can check in at the holiday home at 3:00 PM. You are already welcome at the quinta. We have a special place where you can store your luggage and a toilet room where you can change. At the cozy honesty bar you can enjoy a cool drink or an ice cream and you can also use the swimming pool. The last day is not a lost day of vacation either. We ask that you leave the holiday accommodation by 10am. If you don’t have to leave right away, you can store your luggage with us. Then you can, for example, go to the beach or stay on the quinta around the swimming pool. You can shower and change in our toilet or shower room before you leave for the airport.
Free shopping service
When you arrive in the evening you don’t have to find an empty fridge. We will prepare a welcome wine for you anyway and if you want to use it, we have a free shopping service. Then your fridge is already filled with groceries for the first evening and the first breakfast. Ideal if you are tired from the journey and if it is already dark on arrival, you do not have to look for a supermarket. This way your holiday starts carefree and relaxed.
Car rental
When you spend your holiday at Quinta Corcunda, renting a car is indispensable. Public transport in the Algarve is simply not well organized and certainly does not run frequently. We can advise you about renting a car. Even if you want to have a scooter or an (electric) bicycle during your stay, you can contact us for reliable addresses.
Child-friendly quinta
The Portuguese love children and they also have an advantage with us. Our quinta is a wonderful place for children and also safe. They have plenty of space to play on the grounds with other children, there is little traffic and the swimming pool is enclosed by a lockable gate. Even the little ones will quickly feel at home with us. Fans can play a game of shuffleboard, there is a petanque court and there is a pool table in the indoor area. There are also nice water parks in the Algarve such as Slide & Splash or Aqualand.
Do you want to go on holiday with family, several families or friends? Each couple or family can choose their own accommodation on our quinta and also enjoy together on the large outdoor terrace by the pool.
Fun activities
In the summer we often have a barbecue with the guests on the covered terrace at the long dining table. Everyone brings some food and drinks according to their own insight, taste and budget. The cozy evenings are now very popular among returning guests.
Do you like walking? Then make a tour around the mountain Ondas, which starts directly from the quinta. A beautiful route of about 30 minutes. Or ask us for tips for beautiful other tours in the area.
Massages
Holidays include relaxation! And that is why you can give yourself a massage during your stay at our quinta. Dennis is an experienced, Dutch masseur who has been providing massages at Quinta Corcunda since 2019. He gives the massages with oil so that you relax deeply and then feel reborn again. During the massage you lie comfortably on a professional massage table in your own house. Or in the summer outside on the terrace or under the olive tree in the shade. Dennis is on the quinta for one (or two) fixed days during the summer months and you can register upon arrival. In the other seasons, the massages are by appointment. For only € 35 per hour you get a wonderful massage.
Household tidbits
The quinta has a washing machine. You can do your own laundry for € 5 per drum. This includes electricity & water and detergent. If you want to use the dryer in the winter, you pay € 7.50 in total. Certainly very useful if you are on holiday for a longer period of time. Do you like to use a hair dryer? Then give us a call, so you can use one of our travel hair dryers because of the power capacity. Would you like to use our beach towels? We ask for a fee of € 5 per stay.
